Overview

The Department of Civil Engineering, Sharda University, is organizing a Survey Camp at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand for the undergraduate students as a part of their academic curriculum. The camp aims to provide hands-on experience in advanced surveying practices, data collection, and terrain mapping in real field conditions.

During the camp, students will apply various surveying techniques using both conventional and modern instruments such as Total Station, Theodolite, and GPS. They will undertake projects involving topographical surveying, contour mapping, and preparation of site plans, which are essential for understanding real-world civil engineering applications.

In addition to the technical aspects, the camp also encourages teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills among students while experiencing the natural and diverse terrain of Uttarakhand.
