About the Event:
The Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences is organizing a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Advanced Research Methodology, Scientific Writing, and Ethical Use of AI” from 25th–30th May 2026. The FDP is designed to strengthen research competencies among academicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals through expert-led lectures and practical sessions. The program will cover quantitative research methods, biostatistics, research design, scientific writing, publication ethics, intellectual property rights, patents, grant writing, and AI-driven research tools. Hands-on training in reference management, data visualization, and scientific platforms will provide participants with practical exposure to modern research practices and ethical technology integration.

Objectives of Event
|
1. To enhance participants’ understanding of advanced research methodologies, including quantitative research, study designs, biostatistics, and experimental planning for high-quality scientific investigations.
2. To develop practical skills in scientific writing, manuscript preparation, review article writing, reference management, and publication ethics for effective research communication.
3. To provide comprehensive knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patent drafting, copyright, and design registration to protect and commercialize academic innovations.
4. To strengthen participants’ abilities in research project development, hypothesis formulation, grant writing, and proposal preparation for successful research funding and execution.
To familiarize participants with emerging AI-driven research tools, data analytics platforms, and scientific visualization technologies while promoting the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in research
