Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, is organizing an Orientation Programme for BPT and MPT students (Batch- 2026-27) on 08th and 10th August 2026.
About the Event
The Orientation Programme for BPT & MPT Students (Academic Session 2601) will be organized to familiarize newly admitted students with the academic structure, curriculum, institutional policies, and clinical training requirements of the Department of Physiotherapy. The session will introduce students to the faculty members, departmental facilities, code of conduct, attendance regulations, examination pattern, clinical postings, and available student support services. Students will also be briefed on professional ethics, research opportunities, and extracurricular activities to facilitate a smooth transition into the academic environment and encourage active participation throughout the programme.
Objectives of Event
· To welcome newly admitted BPT and MPT students and familiarize them with the Department of Physiotherapy and the university environment.
· To orient students to the curriculum, academic regulations, attendance requirements, examination system, and clinical training as per NCHAP (National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions) guidelines.
· To introduce departmental facilities, laboratory infrastructure, clinical posting protocols, and student support services.
· To emphasize professional ethics, discipline, patient safety, and the code of conduct expected of allied health professionals in accordance with NCHAP standards.
