About the Event:

The visit to the Indian Head Injury Foundation will provide the students with insights into the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of head and spinal injuries. The foundation works towards improving the quality of life of individuals affected by neurotrauma through medical care, rehabilitation services, and awareness programs.

Objectives of Event

  1. To understand the structure and functioning of a non-profit organization working in the field of neurotrauma and rehabilitation.
  2. To observe the comprehensive rehabilitation process for patients with head and spinal injuries.
  3. To learn about physiotherapy interventions and assistive techniques used in neurorehabilitation.
  4. To gain awareness of community-based rehabilitation and vocational reintegration programs.
  5. To bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical exposure in clinical rehabilitation settings.
