Overview

The Juvenile Wing of the Pro Bono Club (Legal Aid Society), Sharda School of Law, in collaboration with Tapasya Foundation and Sabrr Foundation, is organising a Counselling & Awareness Session on Drug and Tobacco Addiction for juveniles on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day.

The programme is aimed at creating awareness regarding the harmful effects of tobacco consumption, substance abuse, and drug addiction among juveniles residing at the Government Juvenile Observation Home, Gautam Buddha Nagar.

De-Addiction Counsellors, Psychologists, Life Coaches, and social workers working in the field of rehabilitation, mental health, and youth welfare will interact with the juveniles and provide guidance through counselling sessions, awareness talks, and motivational discussions. The initiative seeks to encourage healthy lifestyle choices, emotional well-being, and positive behavioural transformation among juveniles through meaningful engagement and support.

Objectives of Event

  1. To create awareness among juveniles regarding the harmful effects of tobacco consumption, drug abuse, and substance addiction.
  2. To provide counselling and emotional support through expert interaction and motivational guidance.
  3. To encourage healthy lifestyle practices and promote mental and physical well-being among juveniles.
  4. To sensitise juveniles about preventive measures, rehabilitation support systems, and positive behavioural development.
