Overview
The 2026 Summer Internship in Clinical & Counselling Psychology is organised by Abhivyakti Wellness Clinic & Counselling Cell, Sharda School of Humanities & Social Sciences. It aims to teach and practically equip interns with professional skills in Psychological Disorders, Psychological Assessments, Counselling Skills, Therapeutic Modalities, and most essentially, Case Handling in hospital settings through OPD visits under supervision of Psychiatrists. Interns will also experience exposure to Rehabilitation Centre, NGO and Old Age Home where they will engage with the residents through engaging workshops using the concepts of Positive Psychology. The team at Abhivyakti, includes Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, and Yogic Instructors, who will be teaching and supervising the interns.

Objectives of Event
The main objective of the event is:
- To teach interns about essential concepts in clinical and counselling psychology.
- To practically equip interns with professional counselling skills and case handling in hospital setups.
- To equip interns with basics of Yoga Therapy and its techniques to facilitate counselling sessions.
- To guide interns to design and conduct engaging workshops for Rehabilitation Centre residents using concepts of positive psychology.
