Overview

The Department of Oral  Pathology & Microbiology, School of Dental Sciences has started a Value added course on ‘Fundamentals of Oral Histochemistry for Dental Students’ with a primary aim that students understand the principles and applications of histochemistry in oral tissues and identify key histochemical techniques used in dental research and diagnostics.

Objectives of Event

By the end of this module, students should be able to:

  • Understand the principles and applications of histochemistry in oral tissues.
  • Identify key histochemical techniques used in dental research and diagnostics.
  • Interpret histochemical staining results in the context of oral pathology.
