About Prof. A. H. Siddiqi

Prof. A. H. Siddiqi (10th January 1943 – 20th January 2020) was a visionary mathematician and academic leader, who made a great and original contributions to many Mathematical fields like Wavelet Analysis, Fractals, Mathematical linguistics and Image processing, etc. He was Professor (Emeritus) in the Department of Mathematics at Sharda University. He has been associated with Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI) since 2007. During his association, He guided 8 Ph. D. students and published many research papers in Journals of repute. He also authored many books published by international publishers like Springer and Taylor & Francis. He was Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Acting Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh.

Prof. G. D. Veerappa Gowda (Former director, TIFR) 

Prof.r. G. D.Veerappa Gowda is a Professor of Mathematics at Ecole Centrale School of Engineering, Mahindra University, Hyderabad. Formerly, he was a Professor and Dean of the TIFR Centre for Applicable Mathematics, Bengaluru. His areas of research are Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis, particularly in studying theory and numerical methods for hyperbolic conservation laws and Hamilton-Jacobi Equations.
