The Department of Optometry, Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, is organizing an “Industry Interaction Session with Lenskart for Optometry Students” on 01-06-2026.
The session aims to provide students with valuable exposure to the eye care and optical retail industry while enhancing their understanding of contemporary professional practices, career opportunities, and industry expectations in the field of optometry.The programme will cover important aspects such as clinical optometry practices, optical dispensing, patient management, technological advancements in vision care, professional skill development, and career pathways within the eye care industry. Industry experts from Lenskart will share their experiences and insights, helping students understand the practical application of their academic knowledge in real-world settings. Through informative discussions and interactive participation, students will gain deeper insights into emerging trends in eye care, workplace expectations, and opportunities for professional growth.
