Sharda, School of Nursing Science & Research (SSNSR), Sharda University is celebrating Diwali festival with theme: “Divine Light through Rituals: Diwali Celebration” on dated 18th October 2025.

The Diwali celebration titled “Divine Light through Ritual Light” marks an auspicious occasion to embrace the spirit of purity, harmony, and renewal. The event begins with a Havan ceremony, invoking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and collective well-being. The sacred ritual symbolizes the dispelling of darkness and the illumination of wisdom. Celebration will include the lighting of Diya’s, spreading the message of unity and enlightenment. Faculty, staff will come together to share the joy of the festival through prayers, cultural expressions and moments of togetherness.

This institutional celebration serves as a reminder that Diwali is not only a festival of lights but also a reflection of our shared values—faith, gratitude, and the triumph of good over evil.

Objectives of Event

  • To celebrate Diwali in a traditional and culturally meaningful way.
  • To invoke blessings for peace, prosperity, and well-being through the Havan ritual.
  • To promote unity and togetherness among faculty, staff.
