Overview

On 6th Jan 2026, the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE), Sharda University organized an interactive session on “Purposeful Conversation” for faculty and staff members. The session focused on the significance of engaging in meaningful, intentional, and empathetic conversations in professional settings. The discussion highlighted how purposeful conversations contribute to stronger workplace relationships, reduced misunderstandings, and enhanced collaboration. Participants were guided to reflect on their communication styles and understand how conscious dialogue can influence workplace culture, emotional well-being, and organizational effectiveness. The session offered practical perspectives on listening with intent, expressing thoughts clearly, and fostering a respectful and supportive communication environment, thereby reinforcing teamwork, trust, and overall organizational harmony.

Objectives of Event

  • To help faculty and staff understand the importance of purposeful conversations in fostering clarity, trust, and mutual respect within the workplace.
  • To highlight how intentional and mindful communication strengthens interpersonal relationships and professional collaboration.
