Overview
IntroWalk is a mentorship and community-building initiative by the PiXelance Club, designed to orient students from all university departments to the fundamentals of photography and videography. The event will leverage the campus environment to provide a practical, hands-on learning experience guided by senior club members.
Objectives of Event
Our primary objectives for this event are to:
- Mentor and Guide: Provide foundational knowledge in photography, videography, camera settings, and composition to aspiring student creators.
- Build a Stronger Community: Foster a collaborative and supportive network among students with shared interests, breaking down departmental barriers and encouraging peer-to-peer learning.
- Promote Practical Skills: Offer a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, honing their skills in event coverage, visual storytelling, and management.
- Enhance Campus Engagement: Showcase the beauty and dynamism of our campus through the creative lens of its students, thereby strengthening their connection to the university.
- Identify and Nurture Talent: Create an opportunity for the PiXelance Club to identify new talent and provide them with a platform for growth and expression.
