Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research is organizing a International day for the elimination of violence against women on 25th November 2025

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, observed on 25th November, highlights the global commitment to end all forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls.

To mark this important day, the Department/School Name — e.g., Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research is organizing student competitions in Debate and Skit, aimed at promoting awareness and dialogue on issues related to gender-based violence, women’s safety, and empowerment.

These creative and intellectual platforms encourage students to express their perspectives, advocate for change, and inspire collective responsibility in building a society where every woman lives with dignity, equality, and respect.

Objectives of Event

  • To raise awareness about the growing issue of digital violence and online harassment faced by women and girls.(Quality Education SDG 4)
  • To educate students on safe, responsible, and respectful use of digital platforms and social media. (Quality Education SDG 4)
  • To empower young voices to advocate for women’s digital rights, privacy, and safety through creative expressions like debate and skit.(Quality Education SDG 4)
  • To promote digital literacy and gender sensitivity, encouraging positive online behavior and zero tolerance toward cyberbullying or gender-based hate. (Quality Education SDG 4)
  • To mobilize collective action among students, faculty, and the community to create a safe digital environment for all women and girls.(Sustainable City and Communities SDG 11)
