Overview
The Sharda Centre for 5G/6G Research and the Department of EECE, SSES Sharda University, in association with Wireless 4 Scale Laboratory Pvt Ltd, are organising a four-day Hands-on Training on 5G Networks for Faculty and Staff from 12th October 2026 to 16th October 2026. The programme will cover the fundamentals of 5G communication, network architecture, deployment concepts, live demonstrations, and emerging trends towards 6G.
Objectives of Event
- To provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on exposure to 5G network technologies and their fundamental concepts.
- To familiarize participants with 5G network architecture, Radio Access Network (RAN), and 5G Core Network components.
- To provide hands-on experience in practical configuration, deployment concepts, and live demonstrations of 5G networks.
- To enable participants to understand industrial applications of 5G technology and its potential across various sectors.
- To expose participants to advanced 5G/6G research facilities, emerging technologies, and current developments in next-generation communication systems.
- To facilitate interactive learning, expert discussions, and practical demonstrations for developing a deeper understanding of 5G technologies.
- To provide an overview of the future evolution from 5G towards 6G and emerging trends in next-generation wireless communication.
