Overview
Embedding SDGs in Institutional Quality Initiatives is a thematic academic event designed to promote the integration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into institutional planning, quality assurance practices, teaching-learning processes, research, governance, extension activities, and community engagement. The event aims to create awareness among educators, administrators, researchers, students, and policymakers about aligning institutional quality frameworks with sustainability-driven approaches.
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Sharda School of Engineering & Science in collaboration with IQAC Sharda University is organizing a seminar on “Embedding SDGs in institutional quality initiatives” on 30th May 2026.

Objectives of Event
|
1. To create awareness about the importance of integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into institutional quality initiatives and governance practices.
2. To discuss the role of educational institutions in achieving sustainable development through teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement.
3. To explore strategies for aligning institutional policies and accreditation frameworks with SDG-oriented quality benchmarks.
4. To promote sustainable campus practices including energy conservation, waste management, gender equity, inclusivity, and environmental responsibility.
