Overview

The Department of Biotechnology, SSBT is organising an educational visit to the Jamia Hamdard Herbal Garden, New Delhi, for its M.Tech students to provide hands-on exposure to a wide range of medicinal plants and their practical applications. The visit will help students understand plant identification, cultivation practices, and the significance of herbal resources in research and industry.

Objectives of Event

• To familiarize students with medicinal plant diversity and their uses.

• To provide practical knowledge of herbal plant identification and cultivation.

• To bridge theoretical concepts with real-world applications in plant biotechnology and pharmacology.

• To enhance student interest in research related to medicinal and aromatic plants.
