Overview
“Human Rights at the Workplace: Promoting Gender Equality” is an awareness session designed to encourage students to understand the importance of equality, dignity, respect, and human rights in professional environments. The session will highlight gender equality as a fundamental workplace principle and encourage students to develop an inclusive and respectful attitude that they can carry into their future professional careers.
Objectives of Event
The intended objectives are to:
● To create awareness about human rights and gender equality at the workplace.
● To promote a culture of respect, dignity, fairness, and inclusivity.
● To help students understand and recognize gender-based discrimination and bias.
● To encourage students to contribute towards safe and equitable professional environments.
● To familiarize students with the importance of professional ethics and respectful workplace behaviour.
