Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University is organizing a “Academic Visit to National Police Museumon 19th September, 2025.

 About the Event:

Students of Forensic Science will be visiting the National Police Museum as part of their academic enrichment program to gain practical exposure to the history and evolution of policing and forensic practices in India. The museum houses a wide range of exhibits, including historical police uniforms, weapons, communication devices, medals, crime scene investigation kits, and forensic tools. This visit is expected to provide the students with valuable insights into the development of policing methods, the application of scientific techniques in crime investigation, and the significant role of law enforcement agencies in ensuring public safety. The experience will help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding in the field of forensic science.

Objectives of Event

  1. To observe and understand the historical development of policing systems and their impact on modern law enforcement practices.
  2. To explore various forensic tools and techniques used in crime scene investigation, with emphasis on their evolution and application.
  3. To study exhibits related to firearms, ammunition, and weaponry to gain insights into forensic ballistics and its role in crime detection.
  4. To develop an appreciation for the integration of scientific methods within policing for accurate and effective criminal investigations.
