Overview

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organising a Rang Roshni: A Festive Fusion to be held on 13^th October 2025 at Block-7, Sharda University, from 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM.

In which participation of all the students is compulsory, and around 500 students are participating from the Sharda School of Law, Sharda University.

Objectives of Event

• To provide a platform for holistic student development by offering diverse activities (artistic, cultural, organizational) that cater to a variety of interests and talents beyond the academic curriculum.
• To foster creativity, innovation, and artistic expression among students through competitions that require conceptualization, design, and execution, such as Rangoli making and Diya decoration.
• To encourage widespread student participation in both competitive (as participants) and organizational (as volunteer coordinators, event managers) roles.
• To cultivate leadership, teamwork, and managerial skills by involving student committees in the planning, marketing, and execution of the entire event, providing practical experience in event management.
• To promote cultural awareness and inclusivity by celebrating a major Indian festival and inviting participation from students of all backgrounds, fostering a sense of unity and shared experience.
• To facilitate cross-cultural interaction and educate the student community about the significance, stories, and values associated with Diwali, positioning it as a “Festival of Lights” that symbolizes the victory of knowledge and good over ignorance and evil.
