The School of Pharmacy is delighted to organize a special event on 2nd   March 2026 (Monday) in preparation for the upcoming Holi celebrations. This initiative focuses on the preparation of “Herbal Gulaal” (natural colors), encouraging participants to celebrate Holi in an eco-friendly and health-conscious manner.

This event will provide an opportunity for students and faculty members to actively participate in creating safe, vibrant, and natural colors using plant-based ingredients.

Objectives of Event

The primary objective of the “Herbal Gulaal” preparation event is to promote eco-friendly and safe alternatives to synthetic Holi colors. Through this initiative, the School of Pharmacy aims to:

  • Raise awareness about the harmful effects of chemical-based colors on health and the environment.
  • Promote the use of natural, herbal, and skin-friendly ingredients.
  • Encourage sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Provide hands-on experience in preparing herbal colors using medicinal plants and natural substances.
  • Highlight the medicinal and therapeutic properties of herbs used in the preparation process.
  • Strengthen teamwork, creativity, and practical pharmaceutical knowledge among students.

This event beautifully reflects the integration of traditional practices with modern pharmaceutical sciences.
