Overview

The Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering (EECE) under the Sharda School of Engineering and Science along with IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) Sharda University is organizing Hackathon 2026 for EECE students. This interdisciplinary event aims to foster innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills by encouraging students to develop practical solutions to real-world engineering challenges.

Participants will work in teams to ideate, design, and prototype innovative solutions addressing the following themes:

Theme -1 Innovation in Electronics Communication

  • IoT-Based Smart Healthcare Monitoring
  • AI-Enabled Smart Surveillance System
  • Energy-Efficient Wireless Communication Systems
  • Embedded Systems for Smart Cities

Theme – 2 Innovation in Electrical Electronics Engineering

  • Smart Grid Monitoring and Fault Detection
  • Renewable Energy Management Systems
  • Electric Vehicle Charging & Battery Management
  • Energy-Efficient Motor Control Systems

Objectives of Event

Foster teamwork among students across engineering disciplines to integrate diverse perspectives and skills. Provide hands-on experience in applying classroom concepts to real-world problems. The Hackathon will serve as a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, collaborate across disciplines, and showcase their technical and analytical capabilities. The event will also provide an opportunity to interact with mentors, faculty experts, and industry professionals, offering valuable insights into emerging technologies and contemporary engineering practices.
