Overview
SSMFE is organizing special session on “Shaping a Better Future through the
Sustainable Development Goals ” with Dr. Shrinkhala Upadhyaya
This workshop aims to highlight the transformative role of the United
Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in creating an inclusive and
sustainable world, with a special focus on SDG 4: Quality Education. The
session will explore how equitable and accessible education acts as a
foundation for social progress, economic growth, and global citizenship.
Through interactive discussions and practical insights, participants will
gain a deeper understanding of strategies and best practices that empower
individuals, institutions, and communities to contribute towards achieving
quality education for all.
The workshop will feature insightful discussions on key topics such as:
- Sustainable Development Goals
- Relevance of SDGs to careers, innovation & society
- Community Connect

Objectives of the Workshop
1. To create awareness about the United Nations’ Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) with a particular emphasis on SDG 4:
Quality Education.
2. To explore the transformative role of education as a catalyst for
social equity, economic development, and sustainable global
progress.
3. To connect SDGs with real-world applications in careers,
innovation, and community development.
4. To equip participants with strategies and best practices for
contributing to inclusive and equitable education in their
professional and personal contexts.
5. To foster community engagement and collaboration in
advancing sustainable initiatives at the local and global level.
