Overview

The Department of Nursing at Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research is organizing an “Structured Evaluation of Practical Competencies in OBG Nursing” for M.Sc. Nursing, Post B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. Nursing (special batch) students on 27-31 May 2025.

The OSCE is a structured, hands-on clinical examination designed to assess essential clinical skills in obstetrics and gynaecology through a series of timed stations. Students will demonstrate their competencies in communication, physical examination, procedural techniques, and clinical decision-making.

The examination replicates real-life clinical scenarios using standardized patients and mannequins to ensure uniformity and fairness in evaluation. This initiative aims to prepare nursing students for real-world maternal and reproductive healthcare challenges
