Overview

SSHSS (Dept. of Education) is organizing an educational visit for B.A.B.Ed. and B.Sc.B.Ed. students on 29th September 2025. The students will visit the Department of Teacher Training & Non-Formal Education (Institute of Advanced Studies in Education), Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.

The purpose of this visit is to provide students with valuable exposure to advanced teacher training methodologies, innovative educational practices, and research activities undertaken by a reputed institution. This opportunity will not only strengthen their theoretical knowledge but also enhance their professional readiness for working with diverse learners.

Objectives of Event

The visit aims to provide our students with first-hand understanding of:

• Inclusive education practices and strategies
• Support systems and assistive technologies for learners with special needs
• Curriculum adaptations and individualized education plans
• The role of special educators in fostering holistic development
