About the Event:

The Department of Physiotherapy at Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences is organizing an academic event titled “Optimizing performance and safety in diabetic athletes”.

This event aims to provide comprehensive insights regarding the methods to improve the performance of the athletes suffering from diabetes. This event will also provide crucial information regarding the safety precautions to be taken care amongst the diabetic athletic population.

Objectives of Event

1.       To introduce the various performance enhancing measures for the diabetic athletes.

2.       To explore the safety considerations amongst the diabetic athletic population.

3.       To examine the physiological changes associated with the hyperglycemia and its effect on the performance variables.

To highlight the various new technological enhancements in the field of diabetic population associated with sports.
