Dear all,
Sharda University is organizing an Internal Hackathon as part of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026, providing students with an exciting opportunity to work on real-world problem statements and develop innovative, technology-driven solutions.
The official SIH 2026 Problem Statements have now been released. Students are invited to form teams, select suitable problem statements, develop innovative solutions, and participate in the University’s internal selection process.
The internal process will follow the following stages:
Team Formation → Problem Statement Selection → Solution Development → Internal Screening → Shortlisting of Teams

Team Formation Guidelines
As per the Sharda University Internal Hackathon Guidelines:
- Each team must consist of 6 students, including the Team Leader.
- All team members must belong to the same college/institute.
- Each team must include at least one female student.
- A team may work on a maximum of two Problem Statements, with the same team composition and Team Leader.
- A separate solution proposal must be submitted for each selected Problem Statement.
