Overview

The Sharda School of Law is organizing a two-day hands-on training cohort on LeXi AI, a Legal Artificial Intelligence tool, in collaboration with LeXi AI. The programme is specifically designed for first-year law students to introduce them to the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in legal education, research, and professional practice.

As Artificial Intelligence continues to transform the legal profession, developing familiarity with Legal AI tools at an early stage can significantly enhance students’ research capabilities, digital literacy, and readiness for technology-driven legal practice. The interactive cohort will provide students with an opportunity to understand the functioning of LEXI AI and gain practical, hands-on experience through guided demonstrations and exercises.

Objectives of Event

  1. To introduce first-year law students to the concept, relevance, and applications of Legal Artificial Intelligence in contemporary legal education and practice.
  2. To familiarize students with the LEXI AI legal technology platform and its key features and functionalities.
  3. To provide students with hands-on experience in using LEXI AI for legal research, understanding legal issues, analysing legal information, and academic learning.
  4. To develop students’ ability to formulate effective AI-assisted legal queries and prompts for obtaining relevant and useful outputs.
  5. To enable students to critically evaluate AI-generated legal content by developing an understanding of accuracy, verification, reliability, and responsible use of AI.
  6. To encourage students to responsibly integrate Legal AI tools into their academic learning, research, assignments, and future professional practice.
