Overview

Sharda School of Nursing Sciences and Research (SNSR), Sharda University, proposes to organize a Karva Chauth Celebration to promote cultural awareness, creativity, self-expression, and student engagement through various traditional and creative competitions. The event will provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic skills, creativity, and personal grooming talents through competitions such as Mehndi Design, Hairstyle and Nail Art. The celebration aims to create a joyful, vibrant, and inclusive environment that encourages students to appreciate Indian cultural heritage, traditions, and festve practices. It will also provide opportunities for students to develop their confidence, enhance interpersonal communication, demonstrate their artistic abilities, and participate in healthy competition. The event is intended to promote teamwork, unity, mutual appreciation, and a sense of belonging among students while encouraging their active involvement in extracurricular activities alongside academic learning. Through this celebration, SNSR seeks to create a culturally enriching campus atmosphere, support the holistic development of students, and provide a memorable platform for creativity, enthusiasm, and student interaction.
