Overview
The Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF), Sharda University, is organizing an Intensive Hands-on Training Program on X-ray Diffractometers (XRD) to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in X-ray diffraction analysis. The program will cover the fundamental principles of XRD, sample preparation, instrument operation, data acquisition, diffraction pattern analysis, phase identification, crystallinity assessment, and crystallite size estimation. Participants will gain exposure to the application of XRD in materials science, chemistry, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and related research fields. This training aims to enhance participants’ analytical skills and enable them to effectively utilize XRD techniques in academic and research applications.
