Overview

The Department of EECE, Sharda School of Engineering and Science, is organising student Training Workshop on “MATLAB and Its Applications in Industry” on 13th August 2026 at 006A/B, Block III, Sharda University.

This programme aims to provide to provide students with practical exposure to MATLAB and its applications in engineering and industrial domains. The workshop will introduce participants to MATLAB R2026a and its new features, MATLAB Campus-Wide Suites, and various industry applications of MATLAB. The sessions will cover the MATLAB interface, Live Scripts, data types and classes, MATLAB programming concepts, matrix operations, and data visualization. The workshop will include hands-on exercises and practical demonstrations to enable students to apply the concepts learned during the training. An overview of Model-Based Design will also be provided to familiarize students with its role in modelling, simulation, and development of engineering systems. The programme aims to enhance students' computational, programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills and prepare them for academic projects, research, internships, and industry-oriented applications.
