The trials for the Women’s Cricket Team at Sharda University are now open!

We invite all enthusiastic and talented female cricketers to showcase their skills and earn a place in the university team.

Objectives of Event

·  Skill Development

o    To train students in batting, bowling, fielding, and overall game strategy.

o    Programs focus on improving performance through regular practice and coaching.

·  Promoting Women’s Participation

o    Encourage more girls to take part in cricket and sports.

o    Break social barriers and stereotypes about women in sports.

·  Physical & Mental Fitness

o    Improve health, stamina, and fitness of female students.

o    Sports help develop discipline and mental strength.

·  Leadership & Teamwork

o    Build leadership qualities and teamwork through matches and tournaments.

o    Help students develop confidence and decision-making skills.

·  Talent Identification & Career Growth

o    Identify talented players and prepare them for higher-level competitions (state, national).

o    Provide pathways for professional cricket careers.

·  Empowerment of Women

o    Use cricket as a tool to empower women socially and economically.

o    Boost self-confidence and independence.

o    Organize inter-college, university, and national tournaments.
