The Department of Mass Communication, Sharda School of Media, Film & Entertainment (SSMFE) is organizing a day-long educational trip to Annual ‘Surajkund International Crafts Fair 2026’ at Lakewood City Faridabad on February 11, 2026, for the students of BA(J&MC), BA(FT&OTTP), B.Sc Animation, VFX & Gaming Design, MA(J&MC) and MA(Ad, PR & CC).

This trip will help students to understand a number of cultural and traditional aspects of India and Indian craft and the SAARC nations, as it will give them the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into action.

Objectives of Event

Objectives of the Event: 

·         To familiarize students with reporting for various mediums.

·         To understand the skills of Walkthrough for Audio-Visual Mediums.

·         To explore nuances of research for AV documentary.

·          To conduct photo walks in a festive setting.

·      To bridge theoretical classroom learning with practical real-time application in film-making
