Overview
Sustain-A-Thon 2.0 is a 24-hour innovation-focused hackathon organized to encourage students to develop technology-driven, sustainable, and socially impactful solutions aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The event provides a platform for students to ideate, innovate, collaborate, and transform their creative ideas into practical solutions addressing real-world challenges. With a prize pool of ₹1,00,000+, the hackathon covers seven key domains: Agriculture, FoodTech and Rural Development; MedTech, BioTech and HealthTech; Smart Cities and Urban Development; Cyber Security and Digital Forensics; AI, Data Science and Intelligent Automation; Blockchain and Fintech; and Miscellaneous and Open Innovation. The event aims to foster entrepreneurial thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, technical excellence, and sustainable development through innovative applications of emerging technologies.
Objectives of Event
- Promote Innovation and Creativity: Encourage students to develop innovative ideas and technology-based solutions to address real-world challenges.
- Advance Sustainable Development: Inspire participants to create solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability, social welfare, and inclusive economic growth in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
- Encourage Emerging Technologies: Provide opportunities for students to apply Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and other emerging technologies to practical problem-solving.
- Foster Teamwork and Entrepreneurial Skills: Develop collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, project management, and entrepreneurial abilities through interdisciplinary teamwork and competitive innovation.
- Bridge Academia and Industry: Create a platform for students to demonstrate their technical competencies, receive recognition for their innovative ideas, and develop practical solutions with potential for real-world implementation.
