Sharda School of Law, Sharda University in collaboration with UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (Formerly Known as Human Resource Development Centre) Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla is organizing NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme from 24th February, 2026 to 5th March, 2026 (Online mode).

 

The Vision of the Programme is to build competencies in the faculty for better teaching and research by exposing them to Indian Values, updating knowledge and skills and aligning teaching, learning and research with the needs of society and NEP-2020.

Who are eligible: All the members of the faculty of Colleges/Universities including Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors.

Objectives of Event

·         To foster integrated education that combines arts, sciences, skills, and values through innovative curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment systems while ensuring student choice and institutional autonomy.

·         To preserve and mainstream India’s intellectual traditions, promote multilingual education, and ensure equitable access for diverse learners through inclusive policies and practices.

·         To build transparent, accountable, and visionary governance structures that support academic freedom, institutional autonomy, and effective educational management.

·         To cultivate a research-driven academic culture that encourages critical thinking, creativity, entrepreneurship, and industry-relevant skill development aligned with societal and national needs.

·         To integrate information and communication technology in teaching, learning, administration, and outreach so that higher education contributes meaningfully to society, community development, and lifelong learning.
