Overview

On the occasion of the 164th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Office of the Dean Student Welfare (DSW) is organising a “Run for Swadeshi” programme.

The run will take place around the university campus, starting and concluding at the lawn in front of Block 2. The programme will be followed by an oath-taking ceremony and an address by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor.

Objectives of Event

  • To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, an icon of Swadeshi values.

  • To create awareness among students and youth about Swadeshi values, Atmanirbhar Bharat, discipline, teamwork, and national unity, inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

  • To encourage physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork among students through active participation.

  • To instill a sense of civic responsibility among the youth.

 

All students, faculty members, and staff are cordially invited to participate and make the event a success.
