Overview
Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research (SNSR), Sharda University is organizing Poster Competition on “Gender Sensitization “on 19th March 2025.
Gender sensitization is the process of raising awareness and fostering an understanding of gender-related issues to promote equality and respect among individuals. It aims to challenge deep-seated stereotypes, biases, and societal norms that perpetuate discrimination and gender-based inequalities. By educating individuals about the importance of gender sensitivity, it encourages more inclusive attitudes, equitable opportunities, and mutual respect among all genders. This process is essential in various fields, including education, workplaces, healthcare, and policymaking, as it helps create a fair and supportive environment for everyone. Gender sensitization programs focus on addressing unconscious biases, empowering marginalized groups, and advocating for equal rights and responsibilities. By fostering a culture of empathy and inclusion, gender sensitization plays a vital role in building a just and progressive society where every individual is valued and treated with dignity
