World Environment Day 2025 will be celebrated on June 5th to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and restoring ecosystems. The event will include community participation initiatives like tree plantation and creative usable things from plastic. It aims to inspire students and the public to take meaningful action for a sustainable future. It focuses on the widespread impact of plastic pollution, from visible waste to microplastics in various ecosystems, and calls for action to reuse, repurpose, reduce and eliminate it.
Objectives of Event
- Enhance environmental awareness and responsibility among students by educating them on the importance of ecosystem restoration, sustainability, and the impact of individual actions on the planet.
- Encourage active participation in eco-friendly initiatives such as tree plantation, waste segregation, and energy conservation, fostering a sense of leadership and commitment toward protecting the environment.
