Overview
The Literary Society of Sharda University, in collaboration with the Office of Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW), is pleased to announce the Poetry and Shayari Recitation Competition on the theme: “The Power of Non-Violence.”
Objectives of Event

Foster awareness among students about patriotism and nationalism through Gandhian ideology.

Educate students about the benefits of engaging in knowledge-enriching activities.

Encourage student participation in recitation and improve public speaking skills.
-
Provide a platform for participants to showcase stage presence and confidence.
Guidelines for Participants:

Theme: “The Power of Non-Violence”
-
Poetry or Shayari must be original.
-
Time Limit: 2 minutes per recitation
-
Languages allowed: Hindi & English
-
Avoid targeting any specific race, color, religion, or group.
-
No derogatory, divisive, or politically biased content.
-
Poetry should celebrate unity, diversity, and constitutional values.
-
Maintain a respectful and inspiring tone suitable for all audiences.
