Overview

On the occasion of Republic Day, the Academic Committee-Student Council of Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SSHSS) is organizing an academic event focused on India’s constitutional and political journey from Independence in 1947 to the adoption of the Constitution in 1950.

The event aims to provide students with a structured academic understanding of the historical, political, and ideological developments that shaped the Indian Republic. Key themes include the role of the constituent assembly, constitutional debates, foundational democratic values, and the early challenges faced by independent India. The program will be conducted as an academic quiz or interactive academic session, encouraging informed engagement and critical reflection.
