Overview

The Alumni Cell, in association with the Sharda School of Engineering & Science (SSES) and Sharda School of Law (SSOL), Sharda University, is organizing an Alumni Guest Lecture on 24th September 2026 featuring Mr. Rohan Turior, an alumnus of SSES (B.Tech.- Electrical & Electronics Engineering).

Mr. Rohan Turior is an accomplished Intellectual Property and Innovation professional with over 17 years of experience in IP management, patent strategy, innovation, technology management, and structured problem-solving. He is the Founder & Partner of INNOIPS and a TRIZ and TOC Certified professional, with academic and professional expertise spanning Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Patent Laws, and Law.

He serves as a Member of the Governing Body, AIIMS Patna Innovation & Incubation Council, and is associated with the CII National MSME Council and CII Western Region Membership Sub-Committee. He is also the Convenor – Start-Up, CII Maharashtra State Council and Chair – Innovation, CII Young Indians (Yi) Pune.

Through the guest lecture, students will gain exposure to real-world applications of intellectual property, innovation management, entrepreneurship. The session will also provide an opportunity for students to interact with an experienced industry professional and alumnus, understand current industry practices, and explore pathways for innovation, technology commercialization, and entrepreneurial development.

Objectives of Event

The objective of the Alumni Guest Lecture is to provide students with practical insights into Intellectual Property (IP), innovation, entrepreneurship, technology management, and systematic problem-solving through the experience and expertise of a distinguished alumnus. The session aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices, enhance students’ understanding of emerging opportunities in IP and innovation, and encourage them to develop an entrepreneurial and innovation-oriented mindset.
