Overview

Department of Mathematics & Data Science, Sharda School of Engineering & Science, Sharda University is organizing a student-centric certificate course on “Skill Enhancement through Mathematical Thinking and Problem-Solving”. It is an academic initiative designed to strengthen students’ fundamental Mathematical knowledge and facilitate a smooth transition to higher-level Mathematical concepts. The course aims to bridge existing learning gaps through the revision of essential concepts, development of problem-solving skills, and enhancement of logical and analytical thinking. The programme seeks to build students’ confidence in Mathematics, strengthen their conceptual foundation, and prepare them effectively for their regular academic curriculum and future studies

Objectives of Event

  • To strengthen fundamental Mathematical concepts for students who have not studied Mathematics at the 12th - standard level.
  • To bridge the gap in prerequisite knowledge required for pursuing UG/PG programmes involving Mathematics and quantitative concepts.
  • To develop logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills through basic Mathematical principles and applications.
  • To familiarize students with essential topics such as Algebra, Functions, Calculus, Matrices, Probability, and Statistics.
  • To prepare students for regular Programme courses and enhance their confidence and ability to effectively apply Mathematical concepts in their academic studies.
