Overview

Department of Physics and Environmental Sciences is organising a special youth-focused activity under the Breath of Change campaign for cleaner air – Film Screening & Poster Competition on Air Pollution:  A Citizen’s responsibility in collaboration with CMS Vatavaran, MoEFCC, CAQM, EIACP. The Fete is part of a larger initiative, designed to engage youth and communities in Delhi-NCR through activities like short film competitions, workshops, and educational events at schools and universities. The goal is to inspire behavioral changes and promote sustainable practices for cleaner air.

Objectives of Event

  1. To encourage participants to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives and advocate for change in their communities through participation in Poster/painting competition and film making expressing the urgency of addressing air pollution.
  2. To empower attendees to actively participate in the fight for cleaner air.
  3. To create a platform for youth to connect, collaborate, and become active participants in the larger Breath of Change campaign.

As part of this initiative, this event will include:

  • Screening of selected short films on air pollution
  • Interactive discussion on the impacts and solutions
  • Poster-making/Painting competition on the theme: Air Pollution

The painting/poster entries should be impactful and visually appealing, expressing the urgency of addressing air pollution.

Competition details:

  • Theme: Air Pollution
  • Certificates will be awarded to all participants
  • Final results will be announced on September 7, 2025, during the national Film Festival and Forum in Delhi.
