Overview

Department of Management, Sharda School of Business Studies and OPTIMA club is organizing an industrial visit to Cera Craft and Arteco Designs, Khurja, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. This industrial visit offers supply chain management students an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of the ceramics and handicrafts industry. The visit will enable students to observe various stages of production, from raw material procurement to finished goods, and understand how supply chain practices are integrated into traditional industries.

Objectives of Event

1. To understand the end-to-end supply chain of the ceramics and handicrafts industry, including procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution.
2. To analyze the logistics and inventory management practices followed by Cera Craft and Arteco Designs.
3. To explore the export orientation and global supply chain linkages of Khurja-based enterprises.
4. To provide insights into how traditional industries adapt modern SCM practices while preserving cultural heritage.
