Overview
Sharda School of Law, Sharda University is organising a Guest Lecture on the topic The Art of
Mooting:The session aims to provide students with valuable insights into the essential skills,
techniques, and etiquettes required to excel in moot court competitions. It will help students
enhance their legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy abilities — vital for aspiring litigators and
mooters.
Targeted Audience:
Students of BA LL.B (H) and BBA LL.B (H) — 1st&2nd Year
Note: Attendance is compulsory for 1st-year Students and teams participating in the Intra
Moot Court Competition.
Objectives of Event
To acquaint students with the fundamentals and practical aspects of mooting.
2. To develop analytical and research-based legal argumentation skills.
3. To guide students on memorial preparation and oral submissions.
4. To inspire students to participate actively in intra and inter-university moot court
competitions.
Outcome of the Event:
1. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the art and structure of mooting.
2. It will strengthen their confidence and improve articulation and presentation skills.
3. The session will prepare students for national and international level moot competitions.
