Overview
The purpose of this workshop is to familiarize faculty members, academic administrators, and quality assurance teams with the framework, structure, and strategic approach of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The session aims to build a comprehensive understanding of the criteria, processes, and outcome-based education (OBE) model that underpin ABET accreditation, enabling participants to align their programs with international quality standards
Objectives of Event
·To familiarize participants with ABET’s mission, structure & criteria.
·To help institutions and departments understand the Eligibility, Criteria, and Process for ABET accreditation.
·To develop skills for preparing a Self-Study Report (SSR) and Assessment Plans aligned with ABET requirements.
·To promote a culture of continuous improvement and outcome-based education (OBE).
