The NSS Cell, Sharda University, under the aegis of the Office of Dean Students’ Welfare, Sharda University, is organizing a Rangoli Competition on the occasion of UP Diwas 2026, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions of Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility: Open to all students of Sharda University
Last Date for Registration: Thursday, 22nd January 2026 (till 10:00 PM)

1st Prize: ₹2100
2nd Prize: ₹1100
Rules for Participation:
Theme-Based: Rangoli designs must strictly adhere to the given theme.
Team Size: A maximum of 2–3 members per team is allowed.
Materials: Participants must bring their own colors.
Time Limit: The rangoli must be completed within 2 hours.
Cleanliness: Participants must maintain cleanliness and clean their area after the competition.

Objectives of Event
The objective of the Rangoli Competition organized on the occasion of UP Diwas 2026 is to celebrate and showcase the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and artistic diversity of Uttar Pradesh. The event aims to encourage creativity and artistic expression among students while fostering a sense of pride, unity, and cultural awareness through traditional art forms. It also provides a platform for students to visually express their love for the state and actively engage in cultural celebrations.
About the Event:
A Rangoli Making Competition will be organised on the theme "UP Diwas" to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Uttar Pradesh.. Participants will create beautiful designs using vibrant colors, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of UP
The event aims to highlight UP’s cultural richness, offering students an opportunity to express their love for the state through traditional art.
