Overview

On 19th September, Sharda University NCC cadets will be attending their first camp at Bennett University, organized as a swimming training session in preparation for the upcoming Scuba Diving activity.

 

The camp will focus on building water confidence, improving stamina, and learning essential survival techniques. Its objective is to prepare cadets for advanced underwater training while instilling discipline, endurance, and teamwork. This training will also boost self-confidence, engagement, and provide cadets with valuable life skills that will benefit them both in NCC and beyond.

Objectives of Event

1. Swimming Training

  • Build water confidence and overcome fear.
  • Improve stamina, strength, and discipline.
  • Learn survival and rescue techniques.

2. Scuba Diving Preparation

  • Develop underwater breathing and adaptation skills.
  • Cultivate focus, patience, and calmness in challenging situations.
  • Enhance coordination and safety awareness.

3. NCC Personality Development

  • Strengthen teamwork and leadership qualities.
  • Build resilience, endurance, and self-confidence.
  • Enhance discipline, responsibility, and overall personality.

The upcoming NCC swimming training camp will serve as an important first step towards scuba diving preparation. It is expected to help cadets gain water confidence, stamina, and survival skills. Beyond physical training, the camp aims to foster teamwork, leadership, and discipline—making it a valuable experience for overall personality development and future NCC activities.
