Overview

Sharda School of Nursing science and Research in collaboration with NSS Cell, Sharda University is organizing an event on Tree Planatation Drive,  – “Ek Ped Maa Ke naam” as a tribute to our mothers and Mother Earth . This initiative is not just about planting trees, but about nurturing life, protecting our environment and leaving behind a greener tomorrow. 

Objectives of Event

·         Environmental Conservation– To increase green cover and contribute towards a sustainable and pollution-free environment.

·         Tribute to Mothers – To honor the role of mothers by dedicating each planted tree to them, symbolizing life, care, and nurturing.

·         Awareness Creation – To sensitize students and community members about the importance of trees in combating climate change, soil erosion, and global warming.

·         Student Engagement – To encourage active participation of NSS volunteers and students in eco-friendly initiatives.

·         Social Responsibility – To instill values of responsibility, care, and commitment towards society and Mother Earth.

·         Legacy Building– To create a living memory through trees that will continue to benefit future generations.
