Abhishek Anand, Professor of Practice, SMFE.
With over 18 years of experience across various media platforms, Prof
Abhishek has covered many beats including crime and politics. He has
worked with top national news channels and news papers including
Aaj Tak, India Today and Hindustan Times.
Objectives of Event
o Understanding Crime and other Reporting: Provide an overview of the
fundamentals of crime reporting, including research, investigation, and interviewing
techniques.
o Best Practices: Share industry best practices for reporting on crime and other
sensitive topics, highlighting the importance of accuracy, fairness, and sensitivity.
o Hands-on Training: Offer hands-on training for participants to develop their reporting
skills, including writing, interviewing, and storytelling.
