Overview
Industrial Visit of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Biochemistry Students to BSC BioNEST Bio-Incubator, Regional Centre for Biotechnology (Department of Biotechnology, Government of India), Faridabad, Haryana
The visit aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial/research applications by familiarizing students with biotechnology incubation ecosystems, startup culture, and advanced translational research infrastructure supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
Objectives of Event
- To understand the basic concept of bio-incubation and biotechnology startups
- To gain exposure to applied biochemistry, including diagnostics, enzymes, therapeutics, and biomolecular technologies
- To observe laboratory practices, instrumentation, and biosafety norms followed in professional research environments
- To appreciate the role of biochemistry in societal and industrial problem-solving.
- To develop scientific curiosity and motivation toward higher education and research careers
